SoliRest is the best shoulder rest I've ever had! It's incredibly comfortable, and I absolutely love that I can adjust the height and re-mold it whenever I need to.
I'm growing quickly, and my shoulders and posture seem to be changing too. It's amazing that my SoliRest adapts right along with me and always fits perfectly on my shoulder.

I've really enjoyed my Soli shoulder rest so far! As a performing violinist and teacher, having an ergonomic set up is really important for me to maintain a lifetime of playing pain-free. I have a longer neck, which makes it frustrating to find a shoulder rest that "should fit" only to have to buy additional extended parts after the fact. The Soli pegs come in a variety of height combinations that allow me more freedom and flexibility to customize, which has been so helpful. I'm considering buying another one for my viola as well, since I've had good success with my violin rest so far.
Tailoring the fit to my shoulder was relatively simple. The instructional videos were very helpful in making clear how to set up the shoulder rest, so I recommend watching them once through before attempting to put together. I look forward to continue playing on my Soli rest and recommend it to any player in need of a more fluid, ergonomic support.
Honestly I’ve done so many different things to try and use shoulder rests and make them work, but this one is by FAR the most customizable and comfortable out of everything I’ve tried. Honestly I wasn’t expecting much of a difference but was willing to try anything so I got my Soli Rest and shaped it to my shoulder and I don’t even need the foam pads that come with it because it’s so comfortable. I thought it was going to be stiff and rough but when I’m playing I hardly feel like anything is there in the best way possible. Best purchase I’ve ever made for my playing!!!
This is an extremely comfortable shoulder rest for me. I thought my previous kun was as comfortable as I’d ever get, but the Soli provides an extra level of support that means I can hold the violin with minimal effort and crucially zero tension. The design is really well thought out. It easily clicks apart so that it’s easy to fit in your case. Bravo to the designer!
The SoliRest has helped me a lot as a student of violin. The custom fit helps to prevent the violin from sliding out of place.
